The greatest tool for studying the Bible is the Bible itself. While commentaries and other resources can be helpful at times, the word of God is perfect and available for us today. Take your time, read the Bible, study the context, and pray for understanding.

After the Bible, a concordance is the next best tool for studying God's word. Completely void of man's opinion, it will show you every verse that contains a specific word that you are looking for. This is a great tool for cross referencing and topical studies.

Dictionary

A dictionary is a necessity. In our modern world, we have severely diluted the definitions of basic words. If we are going to truly understand the power of God's word, we need to understand what the words actually mean... not just what we think they mean.

YouTube can be a good resource in addition to your regular Bible study. On the Bible Basics YouTube channel, you will find Bible doctrine, practical advice from the Bible, and videos that debunk common beliefs from other theological systems.
